At This Woman’s Work Foundation, we believe that when single mothers are supported, families will thrive, workplaces will grow, and leadership becomes more representative of the world we live in.

Who We Are

This Woman’s Work Foundation was created to inspire, empower, and advance single mothers in both work and life. Our mission is to increase female representation in leadership across corporate Canada by supporting high-performing single mothers who are ready to take the next step in their careers. Many single mothers face barriers that have nothing to do with their talent or ambition. One of the biggest obstacles for single mothers is access to affordable childcare. By removing this obstacle, we help women pursue professional designations and graduate degrees.

What We Do

We work on addressing one of the biggest obstacles for single mothers, childcare. Donations to the foundation go directly toward covering childcare costs while single mothers pursue professional or educational programs. Beyond financial support, we also provide:

• Mentorship with experienced professionals who share guidance, perspective, and real-world insights

• Networking opportunities that help single mothers build meaningful, career-advancing relationships

• Coaching sessions focused on confidence, executive presence, and developing a growth mindset
